Fees & Payment Plans

Booking Deposit

Due to the high demand for appointments, a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking. This deposit can be made in person, by bank transfer, or over the phone. This $50 deposit will be credited towards the cost of the appointment. Please note that this is a non-refundable amount if you cancel or fail to attend the appointment.

Cancellation Fees

Any appointment that is cancelled within 24 hours before the appointment date and time will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the value of the appointment fee.

All unpaid cancellation fees charged to a client’s account must be paid before or on the day of the client’s next appointment. The Practice Manager reserves the right to refuse any future appointment bookings if cancellation fees are not paid.

PAYMENT

Payment for your consultation will be required on the day of your appointment. We accept Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard and Cash. We also have HICAPS terminals available, so we can help you claim your private health insurance on the day of the appointment. We are not affiliated or preferred in any way with any private health insurer. A deposit is required when a booking is made for the general anaesthetics. The balance payment must be settled on the day of treatment. Generally, you are able to claim about 10% – 20% of the anaesthetic bill back from Medicare.

Further treatment

During your initial consultation, we’ll provide you with an estimate of fees for any additional treatment along with details about available payment plans. We believe in full transparency, so you’ll have all the information you need upfront. A deposit will be required before we schedule your treatment appointment.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available with Zip Money or In-House Payment Plans. Talk to our reception staff about how our payment plans work.

Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS) Medicare

The Australian government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) provides eligible children up to $1,000 in dental services over two years. If your child qualifies, you can use CDBS for treatments. Please note that our practice is NON-bulk billing, so you’ll need to pay in full and then claim back from Medicare. Also, Medicare does not cover consultation fees.

General Anaesthetic Fees

General Anaesthetics can be performed at a private hospital or in-house theatres at Spring Hill, Chermside, and Upper Mount Gravatt practices.

We have fully equipped in-house anaesthetic theatres for children needing to be treated under general anaesthesia. Specialist medical anaesthetists attend our practice and are supported by experienced anaesthetic nurses.

This is a great option for patients without a private health fund or those wanting to claim back from CDBS. There is no charge for the theatre fee at our in-house locations. This provides a significant cost-saving compared to private hospitals, where theatre fees typically range from $900 to $3300.
